Education Director jobs in Canton, OH
Education Director provides supervision and direction of nursing education programs. Develops and implements course content and curriculums to train and update skills and knowledge of in-service nurses. Being a Education Director remains current and knowledgeable regarding federal and state regulations. Provides oversight and day-to-day guidance to staff. Additionally, Education Director typically requires a master's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. The Education Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Education Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. This is a Program Leadership and Classroom Role and requires prior teaching experience.
Ross is a growing nursing school, with new locations in Ohio. This role is for a our new nursing training location in Canton, OH.
We are recruiting MSN Registered Nurses interested in sharing their medical nursing expertise with the next generation in the classroom.
We will provide you with complete training in our curriculum and standards to ensure that you will be fully prepared for your new leadership role. We have experienced mentors to help you get started. Using your teaching experience, you'll be able to guide our diverse student population to achieve their goals!
Our smaller class sizes mean you get more 1:1 time with students and make real classroom connections.
This is a full time, daytime Monday-Friday job with a regular schedule and benefits. This job performed daily on campus.
Nursing School Director
Requirements:
- Completion of an approved registered nursing education program, MA or higher
- Five or more years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse providing direct patient care
- Current, valid licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio
- Two or more years of prior didactic teaching experience in the classroom (clinicals can't count towards the two-year requirement)
- Daytime availability
- Adherence to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics
- In person - not remote
