YOUR ROLE
You'll assist and support the FinanceBuzz and AllAboutCookies Editorial staff in the team’s mission to produce high-quality content that helps our readers make smart decisions that better their lives and also performs well in terms of search results and revenue. This role will be focused on supporting our editorial teams that create SEO content.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a detail-oriented person who is able to work independently on a variety of responsibilities with both short and long-term deadlines. You should be comfortable working in a CMS and able to assemble and publish content. You should have strong writing skills in the event that content needs to be adjusted or updated.
You must be 100% okay with having ad hoc tasks added to your to-do list and be able to pivot quickly. Tasks could range from optimizing hyperlinks in published content to collecting and inputting information into Google spreadsheets to assisting with compliance projects to cropping and uploading photos. You are excited by the fact that “editing” for digital media encompasses a lot more than proofreading and you enjoy contributing to the team’s success no matter the task. As a result, you’ll be exposed to multiple potential career paths and a ton of learning!

Total Rewards & Compensation
Salary range: $35,000–$55,000
Base salary is set according to market rates for the nearest major metro and varies based on Launch Potato’s Levels Framework. Your compensation package includes a base salary, profit-sharing bonus, and competitive benefits. Launch Potato is a performance-driven company, which means once you are hired, future increases will be based on company and personal performance, not annual cost of living adjustments.
