About the Role
Fora is looking for a Senior Video Editor to join our growing creative team. This position will primarily focus on creating content for social media, paid ads, and trailers, as well as ad hoc video projects. The ideal candidate will have a great eye for design, strong admiration for visual storytelling, and has great communication, with a love of travel and obsession with hotels.
The creative team is small but mighty, so the ideal addition will be excited to collaborate with, learn from, and mentor team members. Applicants must show a strong sense of short and long form video editing, sound mixing, and animation in addition to showing a wide range of creative styles, have an understanding of up to date video trends and possess a marketing mindset. This role will join a team of editors and creatives, reporting to the Brand Marketing Manager.

About You
We are looking for a videographer to help us take our video production to the next level. The ideal candidate is also willing to become an expert on the content we produce as well, so they can take on growth opportunities that align with our content team’s knowledge. The role is encouraged to go beyond camera operation and to contribute creative ideations and direction, organizational leadership, and innovative new approaches to their work.
Compensation
This role is full-time, based in New York City with a hybrid WFH & office schedule (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday are our in-office days) .
