Editor, Sr. reviews, edits, and re-writes a variety of documents and/or digital content. Responsible for creating and maintaining accurate and compelling content for written copy and/or websites and other online communications media. Being an Editor, Sr. ensures that all content meets required and accepted format and standards. Evaluates content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Additionally, Editor, Sr. may coordinate with creative team to produce final drafts. May provide guidance to lower-level staff. Requires a bachelor's degree in journalism or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Editor, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Job SummarySee CClear understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS
Prior experience with Texas Medicaid/TMHP billing guidelines.
Comprehension of Medicaid reimbursement guidelines.
Claims processing and/or coding platform experience.
Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
PC proficiency to include multi-tasking with various applications, Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook), and working a high volume of claims with time constraints.
Ability to adapt to changing industry trends, regulations, and internal processes.See Compensation for job description
