Responsible for creating and maintaining accurate and compelling content for written copy and/or websites and other online communications media. Being an Editor ensures that all content meets required and accepted format and standards. Evaluates content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Additionally, Editor may coordinate with creative team to produce final drafts. Requires a bachelor's degree in journalism or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Editor occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Job Summary/Description:  

    WFSB-TV is Connecticut's News Leader. Eyewitness News creates the market's leading news and information programming, across a myriad of digital platforms.     The Photographer shoots and edits video of various news events and is responsible for capturing the visuals of news stories and editing all forms of media for daily news broadcasts, continuous news platforms and special reports. This position shoots stories in a compelling and brand-focused way to attract the largest audience available to the station's newscasts.

    Please note - the primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed above 

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    - Completion of high school
    - Must effectively operate high-tech multi-media equipment including ENG vehicles
