The Position:

NOW CFO is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic freelance editor to join our team. We work with a variety of clients across industries to create marketing, training, and educational video content. Our ideal candidate is adventurous and creative and gets excited by the opportunity to work collaboratively to create some truly epic content. You must be comfortable working in the office at our Salt Lake City location with people from all different walks of life.

Role Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form pieces for NOW CFO and our clients.

• Assist with video shoots and production as needed.

• Edit captured video ranging from short-form to long-form pieces.

• Bring new ideas and life and help clients create unique and adventurous content.

• Work under our in-house videographer.

• Collaborate and communicate effectively in a team environment.

Qualifications:

• Provide a video portfolio with examples of a range of work.

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (such as Premiere Pro, Audition, and After Effects).

• Bachelor’s degree in film or communications or equivalent experience.

• Have a good eye, take direction, be open to notes, and be very versatile.

• Out-of-the-box thinker and problem solver.

• Ability to sound mix and sound design.

• Experience with Dynamic Link in the Adobe Creative Suite.

• Understand frame rates, codecs, resolutions, and other technical specifications of cameras and video outputs.

• Understand different delivery mediums and specs (such as social media, TV, and more).

• Experience and comfortability using Apple products and macOS.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of demonstrated professional experience working in a fast-paced production environment.

• Experience editing quick turnaround projects.

• Be hands-on and proactive.

• Passion for the creative and filming processes.

• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both in writing and verbally.

• This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess.

• This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.

• This person must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Salt Lake City, UT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
