ERP Programmer develops, reviews, and modifies the programming to support the configuration of the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Analyzes ERP system performance and encodes and debugs any issues or vulnerabilities to improve the integrity, security, or application of the system. Being an ERP Programmer develops coding to support the programming of new ERP modules and system upgrades and assists with the configuration planning and deployment of releases. Ensures ERP data and system infrastructure security, designs patches for vulnerabilities, and develops backup processes. Additionally, ERP Programmer plans and designs application tables, reports, and new modules to improve system configuration, functionality, and efficiency. Responsible for managing all aspects of the Plex ERP platform. Act as lead contact for ERP related issues and requests. Work with internal and external partners to problem solve and develop solutions. Have a forward-thinking mentality to advance processes and improve efficiencies.
Act as the Plex ERP system enterprise lead subject matter expert leveraging Plex and other vendors, when appropriate, to maximize output and efficiencies.
Develop, document, and improve business processes within each Plex module working with plant and corporate users.
Coordinate with plants to ensure processes are uniformly followed with the objective of producing reliable and accurate outcomes.
Research, identify, develop, test and implement changes to enhance Plex ERP systems and business processes.
Actively participate/lead various problem-solving workshops.
Support EDI change requests.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to improve the use of Plex ERP.
Deploy Industry best practices to enhance efficiency throughout Plex ERP modules.
Support implementation and ongoing support for MES Automation and Orchestration.
Answer users requests, both locally and remotely.
Demonstrate a continuous improvement work ethic.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience with Plex ERP End User Support, Platform Improvement and Administration in a manufacturing environment.
Solid understanding of and hands-on experience with administering and deploying Plex MES Automation and Orchestration.
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, other related field, or equivalent education and related experience.
