American Energy Storage Innovations, Inc. (AESI) has a full-time opening for an ERP/MRP Business Systems Analyst  in Hudson, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

The ERP/MRP Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the functional and technical areas of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems that pertain to the development, test, and production environments. This role is responsible for the implementation of the system, conducting needs assessments, and developing functional specifications to ensure that developed information technology solutions support business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Define, scope, and implement the ERP/MRP build for the company.
• Support implementation of workflow processes and administration on organizational projects that include PLM, QMS & Finance tools, and other workflow processes supporting Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Service, and Sales teams.
• Lead requirements gathering, analysis and testing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve business processes, software functionality, testing, implementation, documentation, and training.
• Design, document, test, and leverage solutions
• Interfaces with Business Stakeholders and infrastructure teams to define, gather, and document business processes and needs, and translate into detailed functional specifications for development.
• Performs business systems and process analysis of existing systems/processes.
• Ensure technology solutions align with business needs and strategic goals.
• Provides escalated support to business process issues not resolved through normal business and IT support structures.
• Maintain high quality project and software design documentation and analysis.
• Adhere to federal and state regulations.
• Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
• Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. 
• Predictable and reliable attendance.

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, knowledge, and prior relevant experience.
• Masters’ degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience working in an ERP or MRP Business Analyst role or similar, with implementation experience.
• Functional and configuration experience with at least one ERP/MRP application.
• Business experience in industries with large capital industrial equipment (project-based assemble/build to order)
• Microsoft SQL experience.
• Experience with software development lifecycle and project management principals.
• Must possess the ability to work with little or no supervision, manage multiple projects, determine own tasks and priorities to meet project deliverables.
• Previous experience developing systemwide processes.
• Must be able to work flexible work hours to accommodate lab testing requirements; including work outside of core work hours and some weekends if needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (grammar, spelling, language usage, etc.)
• Experience with PLEX preferred.
