Being an ERP Business Manager leads the collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify needs and validate that ERP solutions align with business processes. Evaluates and reviews business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps to serve as a reference for the organization. Additionally, ERP Business Manager monitors regular reports to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of ERP applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The ERP Business Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an ERP Business Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing ERP systems, with a preference in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of JD Edwards into our business processes, collaborating with various departments to enhance system functionality and efficiency.  This is the ideal role for someone looking to continue their career in a supportive and collaborative IT work environment. This position has a hybrid work schedule reporting onsite to the corporate headquarters in Superior, Wisconsin at least two days a week.   Core Responsibilities:   Provide leadership, guidance and support for all ERP-related activities. Plan, execute and monitor the implementation, upgrade and enhancements of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne modules, including finance, distribution, manufacturing and order to cash. Ensure the alignment of the ERP system with the business processes, goals and strategies of the company. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, consultants and users to ensure the delivery of high-quality ERP solutions. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and resolve system-related issues promptly. Establish and enforce ERP polices, procedures, standards and best practices. Manage the ERP budget, resources and timelines. Ensure the security, integrity and availability of ERP data and systems. Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements. Monitor system performance and conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and risk mitigation. Manage vendor relationships and contract related to JD Edwards, including negotiating pricing and service level agreements.   Position Requirements:   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Minimum 7 years experience in ERP system management (JD Edwards EnterpriseOne preferred). Or equivalent experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job. Extensive knowledge of ERP modules, including Financial, Manufacturing, Procurement, Distribution and Order Management. Proven track record of successfully leading ERP implementations and managing projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. In-depth understanding of ERP system architecture, database management and integration techniques. Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies. Flexible during times of change. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Keen attention to detail. Interested in working in a collaborate, team-oriented work environment.
