ERP Business Manager manages the analysis of business needs and processes to assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Being an ERP Business Manager leads the collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify needs and validate that ERP solutions align with business processes. Evaluates and reviews business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps to serve as a reference for the organization. Additionally, ERP Business Manager monitors regular reports to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of ERP applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The ERP Business Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager.   • Job Description

    The Business Banking Manager is responsible for coordinating and directing business service products, including but not limited to cash management and remote deposit draft capture (RDC) sales and merchant services activities, which include the development of new cash/treasury management business, new remote deposit draft capture business (RDC), new merchant services business, expansion of existing business relationships and servicing clients. He or she is responsible for business development and establishment of new clients for D.L. Evans Bank. The Business Banking Manager plans, develops and implements effective marketing strategies and policies designed to attract and acquire new customers. He or she introduces new products to existing customers and provides ongoing communication with clients. The Business Banking Manager develops a strong understanding of client objectives and assesses their business strategies and needs in relation to their objectives. He or she engages in frequent local travel as dictated by the necessities of the job. The Business Banking Manager represents D.L. Evans Bank at industry seminars and trade conventions as required. He or she supervises, schedules, assists, trains, and appraises personnel.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree and previous supervision experience preferred
    • Six years of experience as a cash management/treasury management officer in banking and sales/business management industry
    • Must have a thorough knowledge of banking practices, principles, operations, policies, and procedures
    • Familiarity with associated documentation and applicable state and federal deposit and lending regulations
    • Able to get along well with coworkers
    • Able to use the Internet and e-mail and demonstrate an understanding of Microsoft Office products


    Responsibilities

    • Assumes responsibility for the planning, development, and implementation of effective marketing and sales strategies for business services for D.L. Evans Bank
    • Engages in individual and joint business calls and development activities. Responsible for the solicitation and establishment of new customers for the Bank. Works with business banking officers, loan officers, financial services representatives, personal bankers, branch managers and other business development officers to expand business banking services in all market areas
    • Assists with customer reviews for cash management, RDC and merchant services
    • Prepares business solution proposals for presentation to existing customers and prospects
    • Meets with customers to discuss appropriate bank services and determine customer needs. Ensures that other team members are informed of the customer's needs and of the solutions available to meet those needs
    • Reviews marketing strategies in relation to business services for the Bank and recommends suitable marketing solutions/promotions
    • Provides assistance in the analysis and evaluation of potential product and service solutions for existing and new customers. Works with branch managers, department managers and/or Senior Vice President Retail Banking to assess the risks associated with potential solutions. Works with Lending Officers to coordinate credit worthiness and approvals of products
    • Operates computer terminal or personal computer to determine balance, account activity and resolve problems. Enters customer call data for both prospective and existing customers onto the computer, using the 360 View software in order to track progress
    • Assists in pricing and negotiation of business services to optimize relationship profitability. Performs due diligence and feasibility analysis of cash management, RDC and merchant service product offerings to ensure continued feasibility and profitability
    • Assures that all products offered under business services are compliant with all state and federal regulations
    • Periodically conducts a review of cash management, RDC and merchant service product offerings to ensure customer satisfaction. Conducts market research for related products offered by other financial institutions to ensure such products and services remain competitive. Communicates recommendations for changes to the products with the Chief Administrative Officer
    • Determines market strategies and assists management with the development of goals for business services bankwide
    • Responsible for meeting sales volume and/or profitability goals and standards for activity, such as number of sales calls, number of new client relationships established, etc.
    • Researches and develops potential customer lists
    • Develops internal and external referral sources through participation in bank events, community activities, and participation in seminars and professional groups (CPA’s, Treasurers and School District Managers, etc)
    • Assists existing customers with set up and delivery of new equipment as well as provides some troubleshooting of problems with software and/or equipment
    • Provides backup coverage for other bank regions for Business Banking Officers
    • Develops a strong understanding of client objectives and assesses their business strategies and needs in relation to their objectives
    • Ensures effective ongoing communication with clients to maintain high levels of customer retention
    • Seeks to resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively
    • Coordinates all customer communications, including training sessions
    • Conducts training regarding cash management, RDC and merchant services with employees as necessary
    • Provides leadership to department personnel through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication. Works with employees to establish and meet department and individual goals
    • Conducts regular staff meetings and one-on-ones
    • Ensures that personnel are well trained, effective, and optimally utilized and scheduled. Monitors training needs and implements programs as required
    • Conducts performance appraisals as required. Formulates and implements corrective actions as needed
    • Maintains the professional reputation of D.L. Evans Bank
    • Promotes D.L. Evans Bank at all times
    • Serves as a representative for D.L. Evans Bank in the community
