ERP Business Manager manages the analysis of business needs and processes to assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Implements policies and procedures to analyze system performance, ensure operational effectiveness, and drive continuous process improvement. Being an ERP Business Manager leads the collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify needs and validate that ERP solutions align with business processes. Evaluates and reviews business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps to serve as a reference for the organization. Additionally, ERP Business Manager monitors regular reports to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of ERP applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The ERP Business Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an ERP Business Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     • System Optimization & ETL Processes: Recommend and execute system modifications to boost efficiency, accuracy, and data flow, including the development and implementation of ETL processes for better data management and analytics.
    • User Support & Training: Provide expert training and continuous support to project teams, ensuring they leverage Viewpoint modules for an optimal user experience.
    • Advanced Data Management: Employ data cleansing, manipulation, and ETL techniques to ensure data integrity and facilitate accurate reporting.
    • Project Costing Integration: Work closely with accounting and estimating teams to integrate accurate job costing and budgeting within Viewpoint, applying project management principles to streamline processes.
    • Process Improvement Through Technology: Utilize Viewpoint functionalities to identify and implement process enhancements, focusing on automation and workflow optimization.
    • Technical Troubleshooting: Resolve complex technical issues related to Viewpoint ERP, ensuring minimal downtime and continued operational efficiency.
    • Vendor and Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison with Viewpoint and other vendors, managing relationships and collaborating on software support, upgrades, and enhancements.
    • Documentation, Reporting, and Analytics: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, modifications, and test procedures. Utilize ETL processes to generate insightful reports and dashboards that track progress and key performance indicators.
    • Continuous Learning in Construction Technology: Stay informed on the latest in construction technology, ERP advancements, and project management methodologies to keep our operations at the forefront of innovation.
    • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Viewpoint ERP Software or Similar: Deep understanding of Viewpoint or comparable construction management software, with a focus on customization and optimization.
    • Database and ETL Expertise: Strong grasp of database management, data manipulation, and ETL processes, with a preference for SQL scripting skills.
    • Reporting and Analytics: Familiarity with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports is advantageous, along with the capability to craft insightful dashboards and analytics.
    • Project Management and Job Costing Knowledge: Solid understanding of project management principles and job costing techniques, with the ability to apply these in a construction context.
    • Microsoft Office Suite Mastery: High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.

    Educational Background:

    Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, or related fields. Construction Industry Experience: Prior work experience in the construction sector is highly desirable. Communication and Collaboration

    Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
