ERP Analyst analyzes business needs and processes to assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Coordinates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements by understanding workflow, goals, and processes. Being an ERP Analyst acts as liaison between the development teams and business stakeholders to ensure that ERP solutions align with business objectives. Documents business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps to serve as a reference for the organization. Additionally, ERP Analyst analyzes system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities to improve processes and ERP functionality. Generates and monitors regular reports to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of ERP applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager.     Job Title: SAP ERP Data Specialist

    Location: Midland OR Houston TX (onsite 3 days a week)

    Duration: 12 month contract with high possibility of extension

    Rate: $70/hr on W2 Al

    Note: Location:

    • Midland, Texas (preferred), Houston (2nd Choice), will consider other locations for right candidate but must be willing to travel to Midland and Houston.
    • Terms: Hybrid work schedule – 9/80: Monday and Friday on can be worked remotely. Tue-Thu will report to Client location if located in Midland or Houston.
    • Travel required to Midland and Houston, TX up to 1-2 weeks per month. May require additional travel during go live to East / West Texas and New Mexico.

    Must have Skills:

    • Must have OIL AND GAS EXPERIENCE (THEY MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH OIL AND GAS EQUIPMENT PARTS )

    Here are some highlights from our previous contractors resume to target for this search:

    • Plant Maintenance and Materials Management (PM & MM) (this is a must have for this role)
    • S4 HANA (sometimes just listed as HANA)
    • Managed collection, integration, and validation of data from contractors and internal project stakeholders into SAP PM, MM, and SD Modules using IBM’s InfoSphere Information Analyzer.
    • Coordinated project SAP-BluePrint Data clean-up and standardization of 750K functional location database in 90 days, eliminating numerous data transfer errors.

    Summary skillset:

    • SAP Materials Management (MM) Module expertise.
    • Oil and Gas Upstream parts knowledge and noun modifier nomenclature standards.
    • 3 years’ experience with Excel (vlook ups, pivot tables, and macros).
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Power Point.
    • Materials, Inventory, and Warehouse management knowledge.
    • Strong teamwork and coordination.
    • Develop and utilize databases to support business goals, a plus.
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a time-sensitive environment.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and follow up.

    • Materials Management S/4 deployment coordination skills for Mock preparation and execution, Training support, and cutover support (a plus)

    Detailed Requirements

    • Resolves data quality issues through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts in Asset and Materials Management as well as data stewards (Global Shared Services), and other workstreams.
    • Demonstrates successful ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure timeliness and completion by expected deadlines.
    • Master Data clean-up activities include:
    • Data analysis and consistency checks
    • Site and Warehouse visits
    • Populating missing information
    • Deduplication
    • Identify optimization opportunities, develop value benefits, and recommendations to the data collection process.
    • Demonstrated experience leading S/4 Materials Management business transition for testing cycles, training support and cutover and post go live support (a plus)

    About the role:

    • Material Master Analyst
    • Material data collection, cleansing and preparation for loading into S/4 mock and production environments by application of Digital Core standards and Business Units local criteria.
    • (a plus) S/4 Material Management transition support activities:
    • Testing Cycles: Coordination of data preparation, test scenario definition, test script preparation, test execution and tracking of test results and retest for receiving Business Unit
    • BU Training Support: Materials Management SME to support Business Unit Training
    • BU Cutover Support: Assist Supply Chain Team with transition to S/4 prior to go live. Coordination of data collection and validation, confirm BU readiness for go live, post go live hyper-care support.
