ERP Analyst analyzes business needs and processes to assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Coordinates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements by understanding workflow, goals, and processes. Being an ERP Analyst acts as liaison between the development teams and business stakeholders to ensure that ERP solutions align with business objectives. Documents business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps to serve as a reference for the organization. Additionally, ERP Analyst analyzes system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities to improve processes and ERP functionality. Generates and monitors regular reports to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of ERP applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The ERP Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be an ERP Analyst typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Job Description
- Support, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP BASIS-related issues – SAP ECC/SCM/BI/,B4 HANA, and S4 HANA Applications.
- Follow and maintain procedures and manage technologies and tasks based on "best practice" standards for tasks such as system refreshes, backup and recovery, error detection, SAPGUI deployment, background job monitoring/scheduling, and Disaster Recovery Procedures.
- Evaluate, install, and test Support packs and Kernel upgrades
- Resolves application outages, implements corrective and preventative actions
- Performance tuning/troubleshooting systems and application issues
- Maintain system integrity and maximize uptime
- System refresh and Client copy
- Support Database team on Database Upgrades/Migration
- Work with Apps operations teams and functional teams toensure successful project implementations
- Work with 3rd party vendors to implement technology initiatives and resolve problems/issues/bugs
- Managed systems/ EWA/Alert configuration in Solution Manager
- Coordinate/Manage on-call support
Qualifications
- 4 to 7 years of experience in SAP BASIS-related issues – SAP ECC/SCM/BI/,B4 HANA, and S4 HANA Applications.
- Excellent Communication skills
- Worked on Evaluation, installing, and Kernel upgrades
