We are looking for a results-oriented ERP Specialist to successfully integrate our ERP software. You will be collaborating with a team of managers to determine which business processes need optimization, enhancing the performance of our IT systems, and deploying and implementing suitable ERP Solutions.
To ensure success as an ERP Specialist, you should exhibit extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure and the ability to resolve integration issues. An outstanding ERP specialist will be someone whose expertise translates into streamlined business processes and highly efficient human resource management.
Responsibilities:
· Daily troubleshooting of ERP system, including answering processing questions from Purchasing, Sales, Shipping, Accounting, and Production
· Setting access security settings for ERP system
· Work with department heads to evaluate and boost efficiency in system processes
· Integrating third party software to help augment system processes
· Updating data in system including pricing files and SPAs from vendors
· Basic troubleshooting of hardware such as computers and printers
· Establishing ERP needs via business process analysis, report development and consultation
· Analyzing existing infrastructure and performing IT system enhancements
· Developing user-friendly functionalities and interfaces
· Installing ERP software and ensuring seamless integration with IT System
· Performing diagnostic tests and resolving issues to optimize performance
· Providing technical support and training ERP end-users
· Preparing development process updates and documenting ERP processes
· Keeping up with the latest ERP upgrades and offerings
· Liaise with other Project members
· Will be working with multiple locations from time to time (local)
Requirements:
· Experience with ERP systems, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail
· Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science is preferred with experience in distribution industry
· At least 2 years’ experience as an ERP specialist in a related field
· In-depth knowledge of ERP development tools and business processes
· Great organizational and time management skills
· Analytical and problem-solving skills
· Translating business needs into analytics/reporting
· Interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities
· Experience with Epicor P21 is a plus
