ERP Analyst analyzes business needs and processes to assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Coordinates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements by understanding workflow, goals, and processes. Being an ERP Analyst acts as liaison between the development teams and business stakeholders to ensure that ERP solutions align with business objectives. Documents business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps to serve as a reference for the organization. Additionally, ERP Analyst analyzes system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities to improve processes and ERP functionality. Generates and monitors regular reports to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of ERP applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The ERP Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be an ERP Analyst typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.     Triple-S Steel Supply is seeking an ERP Analyst that will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining the organization's ERP systems. They work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes, gather requirements, and ensure that the ERP system meets the organization's needs.

    Responsibilities

    • Assess and present finance solutions through the use of ERP systems.
    • Initiate and lead ERP related projects and provide day to day support.
    • Collaborate with various business units in the organization to facilitate implementation of new or improved reporting processes and functions.
    • Interact with application development staff to coordinate implementation of newly created functions and reports.
    • Define business, financial and operations requirements and system goals working with decision makers and end users.
    • Identify and resolve systems issues using ERP solutions.
    • Lead and analyze design sessions in prototyping new systems to enhance business processes, operations and information process flows.
    • Maintain current knowledge and understanding of ERP applications and computer hardware operating systems.
    • Assist users in resolving problems and answer questions with minimal supervision.
    • Interpret users’ problems over phone and respond with solutions.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or related field, required; OR a degree in another field and five or more years of experience working with financial systems
    • Strong ability to translate business and finance requirements into clear, specific, and actionable system configurations and ability to implement those configurations.
    • Competent in application knowledge, proficiency, and problem-solving skills, as well as competent level of understanding of standard project management tools and processes, change management/control and service.
    • Proven communication, presentation, problem solving, and technical skills are also required.
    • Ability to learn systems quickly.
    • Understands concepts of process improvement and results to improve the quality of services.
    • Strong positive attitude, interpersonal and relational skills, ability to make and keep commitments, meet project timelines, and provide outstanding customer service is required.
    • Communicate regarding finance and technical matters in language easily understood by all staff, regardless of functional area/expertise.
    • Possesses the ability to be flexible in changing situations, meet changing priorities, and solve new or existing problems.
    • Understands the value of adaptability with customers and business owners.
