ERP Administrator is responsible for the administration of an organization's ERP system to facilitate reliable performance, integrity, and security. Processes, validates, and maintains ERP data to ensure accurate system records. Being an ERP Administrator monitors ERP security and manages user access and permissions. Assists and supports the planning, testing, and deployment of new ERP modules, upgrades, and patches. Additionally, ERP Administrator documents ERP system processes and may conduct end-user training to promote effective use and best practices. Tracks and manages support requests to ensure timely resolution of issues or bugs. Maintains, generates, and analyses ERP reports to support organizational planning. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The ERP Administrator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Job Summary:
The ERP Analyst will play a critical role in optimizing and maintaining our ERP system to enhance business operations. This role requires a deep understanding of ERP systems, business processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and troubleshooting the ERP system to ensure it meets the organization's needs and drives efficiency and growth.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
- Administer, configure, and maintain the ERP system to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for system enhancements and customizations.
- Implement and test ERP system updates, patches, and new modules.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the ERP system.
- Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Recommend and implement process enhancements to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Work closely with end-users to understand their needs and translate them into ERP system solutions.
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and resolving system-related problems.
- Develop and deliver training programs and materials to educate employees on ERP system usage and best practices.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate the ERP system with other business applications.
- Work with external vendors and consultants as needed for system integrations or specialized projects.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of ERP system configurations, customizations, and processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in ERP system management.
- Complete and maintain SOP for all ERP interactions by department.
- Proven experience as an ERP Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong track record of successful ERP system implementations and support.
- Proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and related modules.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business processes and data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Experience with data analysis tools and reporting software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Knowledge of industry-specific ERP solutions (e.g., healthcare, manufacturing) is advantageous.
- Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and security.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field required.
- Master’s degree (preferred)
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
