     Job Summary

    The ERP Business Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between technology and business needs within Trust Automation. This professional is responsible for understanding and analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and aligning them with the implementation of ERP/MRP systems and processes. They collaborate with key stakeholders, including business users and the IT team, to gather and document requirements, define project scopes, and ensure that the ERP solution meets the organization's strategic objectives. They conduct thorough analysis, assess system capabilities, and recommend enhancements or customizations to optimize the ERP system's efficiency. Additionally, this position plays a pivotal role in facilitating communication between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring successful implementation, and providing ongoing support to ensure the ERP system continues to meet evolving business needs.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Developing, implementing and maintaining ERP systems.
    • Configuring functions and workflow to facilitate ERP integration with other applications.
    • Defining requirements, scope and objectives related to overall business strategies.
    • Translating business requirements into ERP solutions.
    • Participates in discussions with business leaders on appropriate analysis techniques and requested reporting output. Analyzes data and workflow needs to support reporting requirements. Administers reporting platform and develops reports and dashboards.
    • Collaborating with the IT team, business management, external consultants, end users and other stakeholders.
    • Creating user guides, training curriculum, policies and other pertinent documentation for internal and external partners.
    • Researching, troubleshooting and mitigating transactional and other ERP issues.
    • Performs project management and participates on project teams responsible for system hardware and application software implementation, customizations and upgrades.
    • Works with technical IT roles to define and maintain the testing and development environment suitable for testing and evaluation of new technologies and process changes.
    • May participate in computer audits and perform testing for disaster recovery process, ensuring a secure processing environment that protects the integrity and availability of information.

    Position Requirements

    • BS in relevant business or IT field or equivalent experience.
    • 5 years of experience working with ERP/MRP software (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365) in an engineering and manufacturing environment.
    • 3 years of experience in supporting and delivering technology solutions in a business environment.
    • Ability to analyze data and create reports/dashboards based on requested report outputs using standard report building platforms such as Microsoft Power BI.
    • Understanding of flowchart or process mapping tools used to document business processes.
    • Experience prioritizing and tracking problems and resolutions using a help-desk ticketing system such as Jira Service Desk.
    • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff.
    • Excellent technical aptitude, written and oral communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and deal effectively with people at all levels and in different situations.
    • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to write both technical system documentation as well as user facing documentation and training that effectively communicates technical information to all levels of staff.
    • Ability to create both standalone step-by-step instructions and job role-based course type training materials.
    • Ability to create well organized and informative presentations introducing users to new systems, features, and processes.
    • Technical background and experience working as a "super user" or application-level administrator.
    • Excellent project management skills with the ability to organize and collaborate between different business units.

    • Dexterity of hands, fingers, and wrist to operate a computer keyboard, calculator or assemble/manufacture intricate items.

    Pay scale for this position - $79,990.00- $95,000.00 annually
