ERP Administrator is responsible for the administration of an organization's ERP system to facilitate reliable performance, integrity, and security. Processes, validates, and maintains ERP data to ensure accurate system records. Being an ERP Administrator monitors ERP security and manages user access and permissions. Assists and supports the planning, testing, and deployment of new ERP modules, upgrades, and patches. Additionally, ERP Administrator documents ERP system processes and may conduct end-user training to promote effective use and best practices. Tracks and manages support requests to ensure timely resolution of issues or bugs. Maintains, generates, and analyses ERP reports to support organizational planning. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The ERP Administrator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.   • We are currently looking for a highly skilled ERP Administrator within Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC) to join our IT team. This individual will collaborate closely with our current Dynamics team to optimize our system's performance, streamline processes, and enhance the overall user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, including proficiency in permission sets and Azure, with the ability to develop business reports and manage our ERP help desk. Experience in warehouse and retail operations within Dynamics BC will be highly valued. 

     

    Essential Functions Include:  

    • Administer and optimize the Microsoft Dynamics Business Central system, including user access, security settings, and system configurations to maintain a secure and compliant environment. 
    • Work with ERP system users and management to determine appropriate system configuration. 
    • Collaborate with the Dynamics team to implement updates, enhancements, and customizations ensuring optimal operation. 
    • Coordinate with external vendors and consultants for system integrations, upgrades, and support. 
    • Plan, Test, and Execute new upgrades, patches and migrations of ERP systems before implementing in a production environment. 
    • Design and maintain automated workflow processes based on thorough understanding of business practices and procedures. 
    • Assist in developing and maintaining Power BI & Jet Reports to drive data-driven decision-making. 
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance. 
    • Communicate with management to ensure accurate data, efficient operations, and employee satisfaction. 
    • Provide innovative solutions using technology to improve data recording for the manufacturing process. 
    • Create and manage a Dynamics BC help desk to efficiently support users. 
    • Analyze and troubleshoot ERP system issues reported by end users. 
    • Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides and standard operating procedures. 
    • Train end-users on system functionalities, best practices, and new features. 
    • Perform other core ERP duties as assigned or needed. 

     

    Qualifications Include: 

    • At least 2  years of work experience in a similar role, preferably in a Dynamics BC environment. 
    • Strong understanding of warehouse and retail operations, with the ability to translate business needs into system functionalities. 
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. 
    • Project management experience preferred. 
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 
    • Bachelor's degree in information technology, or related field is preferred. 

    Physical Requirements - Must be able to perform the following functions with or without accommodations: 

    • Consistent and reliable attendance 
    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
