We are seeking a team member who is able to:

• Apply critical thinking related to the implementation of a new statewide accounting system.
• Coordinate tasks with multiple agency contacts and contractors.
• Provide valuable feedback and problem solving skills to create administrative efficiencies.

What you’ll do:

• Work to implement a new statewide accounting system to support budget, finance, manufacturing, human resources, and payroll functions.
• Cross work current processes into the new system ensuring efficiencies are implemented.
• Assist with designing and testing processes while ensuring entry postings are accurate
• Ensure reports are generated correctly.
• Collaborate to solve problems creatively.
• Communicate effectively.

All you need for success:

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree. Substitutions may be allowed (for example, but not limited to, professional certifications or additional relevant experience).
• 4-6 years of relevant experience and/or appropriate certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel.
• Considerable knowledge of, and experience with, SAMII Financial and HR Systems’ on-line, data warehouse, and Document Direct reports.
• Knowledge of MissouriBUYS.
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines and ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
