ERP Administrator is responsible for the administration of an organization's ERP system to facilitate reliable performance, integrity, and security. Processes, validates, and maintains ERP data to ensure accurate system records. Being an ERP Administrator monitors ERP security and manages user access and permissions. Assists and supports the planning, testing, and deployment of new ERP modules, upgrades, and patches. Additionally, ERP Administrator documents ERP system processes and may conduct end-user training to promote effective use and best practices. Tracks and manages support requests to ensure timely resolution of issues or bugs. Maintains, generates, and analyses ERP reports to support organizational planning. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The ERP Administrator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Essential Duties:

    1. Assist with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
    2. Develop detailed documentation on the use of ERP systems. Train others in the proper use of ERP systems.
    3. Develop reports, datastores, and information sources to serve business requirements.
    4. Work within a team to develop options and solutions and deliver training and testing of working models.
    5. Utilizing various query and reporting tools, extract and/or load datastores to support the ERP system and related subsystems.
    6. Provide support to users by answering questions about how to use the system and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
    7. Analyze and reengineer business processes and systems.
    8. Isolate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex business systems issues.
    9. Testing of systems to ensure quality and functionality.

    Recommended Competencies:

    1. Mid to upper-level experience with SQL, developing queries, reports, and/or datastores.
    2. Business Intelligence experience.
    3. Understanding of modern ERP processes and methods.
    4. Experience with Lean, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
    5. Understanding of Six Sigma processes and tools.
    6. ITIL experience.

    Education and Experience: 

    AS Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field and 3-5 years of experience supporting ERP systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully to perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above.
