EMT/Paramedic Supervisor jobs in West Bloomfield, MI

Leads and directs the Production activities in the warehouse. Understands and has working knowledge of company performance objectives. Manages and communicates production metrics so that production targets are met and maintained. Maintains company standards in the areas of service, quality, delivery, and safety.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Directs production team leaders with respect to production volumes, cost and quality, and meeting production schedules and delivery dates
• Recommends production policies and objectives to the site manager
• Maintains adherence to company safety standards, lean manufacturing, and visual factory principles
• Performs within budgetary requirements and prescribed goals and objectives
• Ensures that quality processes and the quality system is maintained
• Maximize efficiency and productivity of production team leaders and production workers
• Ensures effective employee relations
• Reviews and initiates corrective actions
• Resolves employee issues through effective problem resolution
• Assures compliance with company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices
• Assures that production machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained
• Prepares and update production records
• Directs the movement of materials within the plant  Works closely with all warehouse staff including maintenance supervisor, material control supervisor, and Quality Control Supervisors
• Documents performance deficiencies and reviews them with immediate supervisor and or other appropriate personnel to facilitate corrective measures
• Performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor or Associate Degree preferred or a high school with a minimum off our years’ experience working as a supervisor for a logistics or manufacturing company
• Three years or more of directly related experience working in a distribution or automotive manufacturing facility or environment

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
