EHR Project Manager, Sr. is responsible for the coordination and completion of complex projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Oversees all aspects of projects. Being an EHR Project Manager, Sr. sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Additionally, EHR Project Manager, Sr. resolves any development issues or team member performance issues. Prepares project status reports. Requires Epic, Cerner, or similar product certification. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Requires EPIC Certification. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. SSOE is looking to hire a Sr. Project Manager to join our team. This person will provide engineering project management for a portfolio of projects from initial concept through startup. The projects this person will be engaged on will range in size, scope, and complexity; no two projects are alike, and each will bring its own unique challenge and solution. Partnering with our seasoned project teams, this person will identify, understand, and manage the scope of work, schedule, and budget of various design packages. This person will also coordinate with various disciplines within the organization (architectural, electrical, mechanical, process/chemical, structural, etc.) and will be an integral part of problem-solving complex design challenges. This position will be a hybrid position, requiring occasional onsite work.
