Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Additionally, EHR Project Manager, Sr. resolves any development issues or team member performance issues. Prepares project status reports. Requires Epic, Cerner, or similar product certification. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Requires EPIC Certification. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EHR Project Manager, Sr. manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.     Job Overview: As the Program Manager for the Medical Examination and EHR project, you will play a vital role in overseeing the successful execution of strategic initiatives related to healthcare examinations, including medical examination and consultation, hearing conservation, immunizations, and medical surveillance testing. In addition to your responsibilities in project management, you will also be responsible for effectively scheduling these examinations, ensuring seamless coordination and efficient utilization of resources.

    • Lead and oversee the successful execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate closely with our Project Management Office (PMO) to implement effective methodologies, streamline processes, and ensure project deliverables are met.
    • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, while developing innovative strategies to enhance operational efficiency, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement.
    • Serve as a key liaison between project teams, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective communication throughout the organization.
    • Continuously monitor and evaluate program performance, providing timely updates, reports, and recommendations to drive informed decision-making.
    • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to schedule medical examinations, consultations, hearing conservation programs, immunizations, and medical surveillance testing.
    • Implement scheduling processes and systems to optimize resource allocation, minimize wait times, and maximize efficiency in managing examination appointments.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in examination scheduling, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
    • Collaborate with technology teams to leverage EHR systems and other digital tools for seamless scheduling and coordination of examinations.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to medical examinations and scheduling, incorporating them into project strategies and implementation plans.


    Requirements

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Program Manager, adept at driving successful outcomes in complex environments, preferably within the healthcare industry.
    • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, driving collaboration and achieving project goals.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Exceptional problem-solving aptitude, coupled with a strategic mindset and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple projects, and drive results within established timelines.
    • Familiarity with medical examination processes, including medical examination and consultation, hearing conservation, immunizations, and medical surveillance testing.
    • Experience in scheduling and coordinating medical examinations and an understanding of scheduling best practices.
    • Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools for examination scheduling is highly desirable.
    • Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) are a plus.
