EHR Project Manager, Sr. is responsible for the coordination and completion of complex projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Oversees all aspects of projects. Being an EHR Project Manager, Sr. sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Additionally, EHR Project Manager, Sr. resolves any development issues or team member performance issues. Prepares project status reports. Requires Epic, Cerner, or similar product certification. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Requires EPIC Certification. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EHR Project Manager, Sr. manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an EHR Project Manager, Sr. typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Project Manager’s role is to plan, schedule and coordinate all phases of a major construction project, including cost accounting and billing procedures, procurement, and collaborate with owners, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. The ideal candidate will oversee projects from bidding to executions. As you can see, this is a position where outstanding customer service skills are essential.

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Active participation in new project activities
    • Subcontract & supplier negotiations
    • Monitor job progress, Subcontractor performance and project costs
    • Scheduling and coordination of subcontracts
    • Project cost control/budget management
    • Knows and understands the requirements of owner's contract, including bonds, fees, notifications, schedules, reporting, and costs
    • Building materials procurement
    • Prepare/Conduct all Owner/Architect/Contractor Meetings
    • Change orders

     

    Minimum Qualifications:


    Bachelors of Science degree in Construction Management or related degree

     

    You must have 5 years’ experience working on small to mid-sized commercial construction projects.

     

    Strong Organizational and Project management skills

     

    Industry knowledge, ability to read blueprints

     

    Detail oriented and strong communications skills

    Strong cost management background is essential as is a strong scheduling background.
