EHR Application Analyst plans, analyzes, designs and modifies EHR (electronic health record) software applications, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the implementation of one or more software modules. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Being an EHR Application Analyst may be expected to write documentation describing program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EHR Application Analyst requires EPIC Certification in one or more dedicated modules, such as Scheduling, Emergency Room, Patient Registration, or other medical specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The EHR Application Analyst work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. The EHR Application Specialist’s primary role is to support the organization’s electronic health record (EHR). The position will also support the onboarding process for new hires and provide service desk support to end users of the EHR.
This is a unique opportunity to work behind the scenes of an electronic health record system. The position is full time and would be a great opportunity for any recent graduate who is interested in working with a variety of different components of an EHR. This position is hybrid and will require coming in to the office for orientation biweekly and other business needs.
