EHR Application Analyst jobs in District of Columbia
EHR Application Analyst plans, analyzes, designs and modifies EHR (electronic health record) software applications, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the implementation of one or more software modules. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Being an EHR Application Analyst may be expected to write documentation describing program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EHR Application Analyst requires EPIC Certification in one or more dedicated modules, such as Scheduling, Emergency Room, Patient Registration, or other medical specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The EHR Application Analyst work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. The role is 99% remote but requires employees to be able to travel to the Washington, DC, area with a 1-hour notice.
- Manage Enterprise ERP Munis system maintenance, backups, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain system documentation for ERP resource utilization, security, and availability
- Monitor Enterprise ERP Munis system performance and optimization.
- Provide support and assistance for server resources and installation of ERP.
- Assist in scripting and automation processes to enhance access and efficiency.
- Perform regular system maintenance to ensure further preventative measures.
- Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices in the industry.
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience working in a technical role within the Munis ERP is preferred
- Hands-on experience with advanced scripting, automation, and customization
- Deep knowledge of installation/configuration of ERP system resources
- Expertise in system metrics and performance optimization
- Working knowledge of ERP security standards
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related discipline pref
