EHR Application Analyst plans, analyzes, designs and modifies EHR (electronic health record) software applications, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the implementation of one or more software modules. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Being an EHR Application Analyst may be expected to write documentation describing program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EHR Application Analyst requires EPIC Certification in one or more dedicated modules, such as Scheduling, Emergency Room, Patient Registration, or other medical specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The EHR Application Analyst work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Syncron is looking for a Senior level candidate in the Portland metro area, who is both service-oriented and data-driven, ready to grow their career as a Senior Application Analyst, serving one of our most valued customers. The ideal candidate will bring excellent communication skills and honed analytical thinking to solve complex business problems within a global team.

    The successful candidate will belong to the Customer Success organization and work as a Senior Application Analyst within our Inventory Management product. You will work within the Analyst Services team supporting both super-users and end-users of our Inventory Management solution.

    You should have exceptional customer service skills to ensure all users of the application are truly satisfied. The position also requires technical skills for query building, data mining, building reports that support complex operational business decisions and an understanding of the SaaS delivery model. This position has high visibility and responsibility to ensure exceptional service delivery to the customer.

    Among other tasks the role includes the following responsibilities:

    • Work as a Senior Application Analyst with the goal and responsibility to meet or exceed the expectations from the customer
    • Be a speaking partner to the customer regarding analyst services
    • Actively monitor the standard inventory management performance KPIs. Communicate and follow-up any deviations from standard KPIs to the end users as well as super users
    • Report and follow up with the customer that necessary actions are taken to improve data quality
    • Work together with our customer’s analysts to agree and achieve strategic goals with the inventory management program
    • Respond to support questions from the super-users and end-users of the application
    • Work within the Syncron analyst team to deliver best possible analyst services to our customer
    • Coach team members as well as conduct knowledge sharing sessions for the global team

    Minimum requirements:

    • An analytical mind and interest in problem solving. You should also be driven, flexible, professional, independent, customer focused and outgoing
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
    • 5-7 years of experience from and/or knowledge about IT such as SQL, databases, process modeling, data formats, data transmission technologies, etc.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Mathematics, or another equivalent field
    • Any related work experience working with inventory management software, ERP-system planning module software, Supply Chain Management, or within the parts business in Automotive, Distribution or Construction would be helpful.
