Being a EEO Trainer designs and tracks metrics to measure the effectiveness of training on the workforce. May be responsible for working with outside vendors to deliver training. Additionally, EEO Trainer requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EEO Trainer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Under the direction of the Director of Training and Development, coordinates and facilitates training and development programs for all levels of Team Members for Chumash Enterprises. Creates, implements, and facilitates training programs for all levels of team members.
This role and its function are part of the Human Resource shared services model. A Team Member in a shared service structure, works within a dedicated business unit (including people, processes, and technologies) that is structured as a centralized point of service and is focused on defined business functions. These units typically serve multiple business groups enterprise wide, and typically have established Service Level Agreements.
• Facilitates Team Member training sessions, covering specified areas such as Orientation, guest service, and compliance, and supervisory training. • Organize and coordinates planning materials of the onboarding process.• Responsible for onboarding and orientation. • Assists in developing training courses and training materials for companywide training programs led by the Human Resources training team and operational training programs for various departments.• Evaluates the effectiveness of various training programs and methodologies.• Maintains records to document training participants, activities, and results.• Researches, orders, and maintains training supplies. Transports supplies as needed. • Makes recommendations for learning and development opportunities for consideration as program design. • Provides support, collaboration, and partnership to operational development trainers and management teams. • Responsible for learning new information on rules, regulations, trends, and best practices relating to learning and development activities and programs. • Ensures effective administration of training process and policies.• Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training.• Upholds a work environment that promotes teamwork, partnership, recognition, mutual respect, and collaboration, while role modeling the company values, behaviors, and culture of One.Team.Chumash.• Performs other duties as required.
• High School diploma or GED certificate.• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.• Two years’ experience working in hospitality, gaming, or related field. • Bilingual in Spanish and/or Tagalog language is a plus. • Ability to present and facilitate training programs to diverse audiences, demonstrating the ability to motivate, educate, and train others. • Ability to have a flexible work schedule to work holidays, nights, and weekends. • Intermediate computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and Internet.• Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.• Native American hiring preference applies.
