This role will support functional training of new hires, evaluate initial performance capabilities of trainees and assist in other onboarding activities as needed.

What you will be doing:

• Reports to their department manager, while assisting with training in their home department when needed.
• Conduct departmental on-the-job training and cross-training for all hourly drivers utilizing approved training materials.
• Evaluate performance and make recommendations on performance in line with training material.
• Ensure all required training documentation is completed properly and in a timely manner.
• Act as a friendly point-of-contact to support any new hires 
• Collaborate on identifying necessary training material updates or opportunities.
• Maintains a high level of availability in carrying out training needs on a day to day basis.

Skills and Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalent desirable
• Experience training peers or groups desirable
• Experience facilitating training or presentations to groups of students (5 people) desirable
• Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) desirable
• Must be self-motivated, highly detail-oriented and organized
• Written and verbal communication skills
• High Influencing
• Willing to work overtime and possible weekends as needed
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environment; Experience in fast paced environment
• Strong relationship building skills
