EEO Manager manages the administration of programs that promote employee and vendor diversity. Designs and implements procedures to ensure compliance with internal polices and external diversity regulations. Being a EEO Manager oversees initiatives to foster knowledge and adoption of diversity and inclusion topics and best practices, and to ensure the organization employs strategies to attract, develop, and retain members of underrepresented groups. Uses statistics, metrics, and reports to assess the progress and effectiveness of diversity initiatives. Additionally, EEO Manager may be responsible for managing diversity training. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The EEO Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE: Under the direction of the Director of Clinics and Provider Relations, and the direct supervision of the RN-Nurse Manager. The Licensed Practical Nurse provides general nursing care, including treatments, administering medication to patients, prepares patients for and assists in examinations. Provides patient education within their scope of practice to meet the needs of OCHC’s patient population. Records appropriate information in patient records, oversees and directs medical assistants and manages patient flow in the department. Performs various support specialist duties to ensure optimal patient flow and excellent customer service in accordance with OCHC policies, practices and procedures. All duties performed must reflect their scope of practice. The LPN also has a reporting relationship with the Chief Medical Officer for clinical and relevant issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES perform all general duties as Licensed Practical Nurse. Other duties may be assigned.
MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS: To provide coverage and assistance to Medical Assistants as needed.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Graduate of an accredited licensed practical nursing program and hold a current, unrestricted license to practice nursing in the state of Wisconsin. Current CPR certification.
