EEO Manager manages the administration of programs that promote employee and vendor diversity. Designs and implements procedures to ensure compliance with internal polices and external diversity regulations. Being a EEO Manager oversees initiatives to foster knowledge and adoption of diversity and inclusion topics and best practices, and to ensure the organization employs strategies to attract, develop, and retain members of underrepresented groups. Uses statistics, metrics, and reports to assess the progress and effectiveness of diversity initiatives. Additionally, EEO Manager may be responsible for managing diversity training. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The EEO Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Job Summary: The Employment and Educational Opportunity Specialist develops, implements, and ensures compliance with Title II, Title VII, Title IX, Section 504, and other equal opportunity laws at the state and federal levels. In serving as the Title IX investigator and coordinator this position assists the office of the assistant superintendent in receiving and investigating complaints of discrimination and harassment related to students to determine violations of policies; making recommendations for findings and resolutions; assisting with the protocols and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal laws and board of education policy.
Salary: Grade 7: $75,895.46 - $106,594.38 DOE
Work Day: 8 hours per day
