EEG Technician performs electroencephalograms in accordance with established practices and procedures. Attaches electrodes to the patient. Being an EEG Technician records impulse frequencies and differences in electrical potential between various areas of the brain to obtain data for use in the diagnosis of brain disorders. Provides preliminary diagnostic evaluation and notifies neurologist of results of examinations. Additionally, EEG Technician consults with neurologist to establish requirements for non-standard examinations and determines technical factors to satisfy requirements. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EEG Technician works under moderate supervision. Description
Repairs and maintains BRT’s tractor and trailer fleet. Requires formal training in area of specialty with 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. May be required to meet certain certifications in field. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks concentrating on maintenance of BRT, Inc. owned equipment. May require availability during other than traditional work hours.
Requirements
Level One Technician
Class A-CDL required
Class 3 or 7 Pennsylvania Inspection license required
5 years’ experience or more working on class 8 trucks
Must be able to acquire a HAZ-MAT with tanker endorsement
Certified DOT Tank Inspector
Part of on-call rotation
Level Two Technician
Class A-CDL required with Hazmat
Class 3 or 7 Pennsylvania Inspection license required
3 years’ experience or more working on class 8 trucks
Must be able to acquire a HAZ-MAT with tanker endorsement

Level Three Technician
Automotive school graduate
2 years’ experience or more working on class 8 trucks
No CDL or PA inspection license
Clean driving record and able to acquire CDL and PA inspection license

Physical Demands:
• Some heavy lifting and considerable moving of equipment required.
• Lifting of objects up to 100 lbs.
Personal Protective Equipment:
• Safety Glasses, gloves, and outer garments required while performing certain tasks.
Work Environment:
• Exposed to a combination of normal office type environments, and shop environments.
• Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise.
