EEG Technician jobs in Colorado
EEG Technician performs electroencephalograms in accordance with established practices and procedures. Attaches electrodes to the patient. Being an EEG Technician records impulse frequencies and differences in electrical potential between various areas of the brain to obtain data for use in the diagnosis of brain disorders. Provides preliminary diagnostic evaluation and notifies neurologist of results of examinations. Additionally, EEG Technician consults with neurologist to establish requirements for non-standard examinations and determines technical factors to satisfy requirements. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EEG Technician works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be an EEG Technician typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

Neuline Health is seeking qualified individuals, (must be proficient with 10/20 electrode placement) for employment in Colorado Springs, CO. The job entails setting up and disconnecting patients for Routine exams in a clinical setting. This could also include Ambulatory setups outside the clinic, at times.
The EEG technician must be able to work independently, have basic computer knowledge, excellent communication skills and pass a background check.
Additional EEG Tech Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting EEG hookups using 10/20 system.
- Taking an accurate and detailed patient history.
- Cleaning and sterilizing EEG equipment.
- Troubleshooting equipment and/or patient issues.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License with proof of vehicle insurance
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- REEGT or RPSGT (Preferred)
