EDP Audit Manager manages the auditing of data processing systems and operating procedures in accordance with established corporate standards for efficiency, accuracy, and security. Determines and recommends improvements in current standards and the implementation of system changes. Being an EDP Audit Manager develops organizational audit programs to continuously maintain the effectiveness of data processing operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EDP Audit Manager typically reports to top management. The EDP Audit Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     How you will contribute:
    • Review audit engagement procedures performed by the audit team in a timely and professional manner
    • Perform detailed audit procedures over various income statement and balance sheet accounts when necessary
    • Understand client service relationships and how to utilize firm resources to provide unmatched client service to existing clients
    • Use technology tools proficiently in regular assignments and demonstrate a commitment to improving work processes through the use of technology
    • Demonstrate your ability to recognize problems and propose sensible solutions with an appropriate balance between client needs and the firm's risk
    • Meet assigned deadlines or budgets and provide advance warning of any variances
    • Assist with managing, developing, and coaching professional staff
    • Participate in board and audit committee meetings and presentations
    • Build personal referral sources and clientele while actively participating in team marketing opportunities

    We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:
    • Experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously
    • Advanced analytical and reasoning skills
    • Ability to travel to serve clients
    • Ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and experience levels, both verbally and in writing
    • Ability to maintain professional client relationships
    • A high level of knowledge ofcurrent audit and accounting concepts
    • A desire to provide mentorship and training to other professionals

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
    • 5 years of relevant audit experience
    • CPA license
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Interest and/or experience in at least one of the following industries: Financial Services (Banking or Insurance), Nonprofit, Higher Education, Public Sector, Commercial Services, Healthcare
