They are currently seeking an Audit Manager to work in their Chesapeake office, where you will play a crucial role in leading and managing audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing audit planning, executing fieldwork, reviewing work papers, ensuring compliance with auditing standards, and mentoring and developing staff members.
The Partners and staff follow an open-door policy at this firm. Many of the Partners have been with the firm since its inception, and the company has not undergone any major mergers, preserving the unique culture that their employees love. The atmosphere at the firm is casual and relaxed, unlike the "stuffy" environment that is often found in other firms.
Ideally, you should have at least four years of experience in Public Accounting with managerial experience and be proficient in running all levels of assurance engagements (audits, reviews, compilations, preparations).
