EDP Audit Manager manages the auditing of data processing systems and operating procedures in accordance with established corporate standards for efficiency, accuracy, and security. Determines and recommends improvements in current standards and the implementation of system changes. Being an EDP Audit Manager develops organizational audit programs to continuously maintain the effectiveness of data processing operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EDP Audit Manager typically reports to top management. The EDP Audit Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Position Summary
Audit managers take on an array of tasks within the audit department including quality review of staff work, project management, business development and solving complex audit issues. They work both independently and collaboratively with the audit staff and senior staff members. People developers, problem solvers and excellent communicators, we want you!

Requirements
Required Experience and Education
Either “FASB” or “Commercial” and/or “Not-for-Profit” experience or Governmental auditing is desired, as is experience in Yellow Book and Single Audits. A current and valid CPA license is required. Must be a member in good standing with the American Institute of CPAs and respective state societies. 5-7 years’ experience of related work experience, demonstrating a progression in complexity, scope, and number of projects, preferably with approximately 4 of those years served as an auditor with a public accounting firm. Needs excellent project management skills, advanced written and verbal communication skills, dedication to teamwork and leadership and integrity within a professional environment.
