EDP Audit Manager jobs in Normal, IL
EDP Audit Manager manages the auditing of data processing systems and operating procedures in accordance with established corporate standards for efficiency, accuracy, and security. Determines and recommends improvements in current standards and the implementation of system changes. Being an EDP Audit Manager develops organizational audit programs to continuously maintain the effectiveness of data processing operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EDP Audit Manager typically reports to top management. The EDP Audit Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. - Prior manager experience on audit engagements
- Communicate effectively with clients, partners, and audit staff
- Coaching and mentoring audit staff
- Ability to articulate complex financial information to a variety of clients
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
- Provide strategic business advice and recommendations to clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Licensed CPA
- Specialization in one or more industries
- Proficiency in using accounting/audit software applications and Microsoft Office
- Proficiency with remote communication technologies (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
- Occasional travel to client sites
