Position Overview:
The Case Manager for the Utilities and Rental Department is responsible for interviewing applicants and obtaining household demographic and financial information to assess and determine eligibility for resources provided by the department programs based on the funding source guidelines. The case manager will provide detailed case notes for reference. This position is also responsible for keeping in communication with the applicant/client providing them with details of the program guidelines and benefits. Will also keep in communication with department staff as to the status of the client’s application. This position will provide optional resources and referrals to another agency department program or to other partner agencies.
