e-Commerce Manager manages the development, deployment, and maintenance of e-commerce websites. Oversees e-commerce site developers to ensure that e-commerce sites are built and expanded based on evolving technology and business needs.     SUMMARY  

    The E-Commerce Manager who will be responsible for managing our aftermarket e-commerce strategy, optimizing our SEO and SEM effectiveness, and implementing changes to assist in achieving our business objectives. You will report to the VP of Marketing and collaborate with multiple stake holders to optimize our e-commerce websites and improve the overall online customer experience.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, include but are not limited to the following: 

    • Develop the marketing program for the SHAPE technologies aftermarket e-commerce web shops.
    • Ensure execution of all appropriate strategic initiatives, promotions, and programs in the e-commerce environment in partnership with aftermarket leadership
    • Assist in the development of marketing strategies in support of strategic vision for the e-commerce channel, ensuring link to business plans and strategy.
    • Execute channel priorities, objectives, and overall marketing plan, including promotions, content, demand generation activities, pricing strategies, and any applicable product launch campaigns as required by the aftermarket group.
    • Responsible for the e-commerce SEO and SEM strategy
    • Collaborate with Brand Management, Digital Marketing, Sales, Product Management and Aftermarket as needed to ensure the e-commerce channel is meeting business goals.
    • Lead content aggregation, distribution, and optimization within the e-commerce platform, including the ability to prepare and create content in collaboration with the Shape Technologies brand experience team.
    • Understand target audience(s) key needs/desires and purchase behavior in their purchase journey.
    • Support product marketing efforts including collateral and/or content development, and demand creation plans through our e-commerce sites.
    • Develop strong relationships to assess customer needs, drive alignment of marketing budget with key business initiatives, and communicate and prioritize channel needs.
    • Analyze data to track marketing effectiveness (i.e., promotion, digital) and identify new opportunities or strategies. Build business cases, oversee financial analysis, and gather internal support/approval for various initiatives supporting the e-commerce channel.
    • Understand, analyze, monitor, action and continuously improve strategic internal and external partner KPIs, VOC, competitive activities, trends, etc. for marketing, planning and growth purposes.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • This position has no supervisory responsibilities. 

    TRAVEL:

    • Travel is estimated at 10%.

    • This is a remote position but must live within the United States

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

    • Good, working knowledge of MS Project, ASANA and / or other Project Management software.
    • Excellent documentation maintenance skills.
    • Knowledge of waterjet, laser and material processing technologies or automation a plus.
    • Exceptional customer service skills.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

    EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, or Business, information technology or related field
    • 3 years of eCommerce marketing experience
