e-Commerce Manager manages the development, deployment, and maintenance of e-commerce websites. Oversees e-commerce site developers to ensure that e-commerce sites are built and expanded based on evolving technology and business needs. Being an e-Commerce Manager creates and implements processes and procedures for integrating e-commerce sites with backend systems, including pricing, inventory, and customer relationship databases. Requires knowledge of common web development languages (e.g., HTML, Java, PHP, JSP, ASP.NET, Python, AJAX.) Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, e-Commerce Manager typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The e-Commerce Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an e-Commerce Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager with managing store operations and in supervision of store personnel.
Responsibilities
The E-Commerce Manager is an advanced-level role performing a variety of duties to achieve our common goal of selling donated items online for our retail store teams. This position is the lead management role within the e-commerce department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Major responsibilities Production:
1. Quickly and efficiently process goods across all product categories as directed.
2. Check the condition of items to ensure it meets defined quality standards.
3. Maintain established productivity goals without loss of quality of work.
4. Clean and prepare goods for sale as needed.
5. Facilitate the flow of goods throughout the sales cycle; i.e., receiving, processing, photography, listing, stocking, reverse logistics, etc.
6. Receives, moves and places carts, containers and barrels containing donations, trash, and As-Is for processing in designated areas.
7. Loads and unloads containers and transports product to appropriate areas.
8. Tracks production output as well as product levels and records on appropriate forms.
9. Places appropriate storage labels on containers.
10. Maintains work areas in a neat and orderly manner with clean-up activities performed throughout the day.
11. Record assigned metrics and complete daily reports.

13. Take photos of products for sale online within one major category segment; i.e jewelry, goods, etc
14. Quickly and efficiently enter goods into software programs across all product categories as directed.
15. Operate equipment including pallet jack, forklift, and box dumper.
Major responsibilities Marketing & Sales:
- Enter product data into spreadsheets or other applications to list items online.
- Create item titles using keywords relating to the product.
- Advanced customer service.
- Quality Assurance in E-Goods.
- Advanced data entry.
- Pull orders from the stockroom and prepare for shipping.
- Process orders with proper packaging, labeling and sorting.
- Stock shipping supplies as directed.
- Packing of E-Goods items including large, breakable and/or complex items.
- Maintain neat, clean, and organized work area at all times.
- Meet productivity goals for the assigned role on a consistent basis.
- Adhere to all organization policies and procedures.
