Job Description

North 40 Outfitters in Great Falls, MT is looking to hire a Full-Time Salaried E-Commerce Technology Manager to join our team.  We believe that each team member plays a vital role in the success of our company.  We are looking for authentic and enthusiastic people who love our lifestyle and believe in service before self.  As an E-Commerce Technology Manager you are responsible for creating and executing the strategy to grow north40.com and its subsites. This role will be key to improving existing systems and implementing new technology by partnering with internal and external development teams to support strategic growth initiatives. 

This full-time position requires the ability to work on-site and all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm.  As this is a salaried position it is expected to work 50-55 hours per week.  This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Analyze effectiveness of all existing operations and assess/recommend improvements and/or new technology to meet current and future needs 
• Review and understand the end-to-end architecture of the website(s) to identify areas of weakness or risk and recommend changes to ensure long term stable architecture from which we can grow from  
• Work closely with cross functional teams to gather business requirements, provide technical input and build an implementation plan 
• Manage the development, release, and maintenance of web applications, systems, and services that support company's strategic growth initiatives.  
• Manage, prioritize, and proactively drive positive changes to the website(s), including large-scale development, process enhancements, and day-to-day improvements  
• Actively engage in sprint planning calls and provide technical input on the approach and estimates 
• Optimize site performance and speed by monitoring the site and ensuring proper set up and maintenance of the server and CDN 
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices, coding standards, ADA compliance, and robust security protocols in collaboration with internal Security Administrator. This includes reviewing Magento patches and security upgrades.  
• Manage product feeds and API integrations between platforms (CRM, ERP, OMS, Payment, Shipping, Tax, etc.) 
• Actively monitor and report on KPI’s identified by the executive team  
• Stay up to date on emerging technology trends and industry developments, to ensure our existing infrastructure can meet future strategic growth initiatives  
• Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques.  Physical ability to lift and carry 0-10 lbs. continuously, 10-25 lbs. frequently, and 25-55 lbs. occasionally, and team lift anything over 55 lbs. 

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in e-commerce platforms, preferably Magento 
• Experience with API integrations between multiple platforms 
• Strong communication skills to build successful working relationships with internal departments and external partners 
• Excellent project management skills to oversee and prioritize multiple concurrent projects
