Job Description

Pleasantrees is seeking an Ecommerce Manager to join our marketing team. You will be responsible for leading ecommerce growth and optimization for Pleasantrees. You will play a key role in driving online sales and optimizing the customer shopping experience on multiple proprietary e-commerce site platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Director of Retail to curate and execute e-commerce strategies to achieve business objectives.
• Optimize the website experience, tailoring the navigation, site merchandising, on-site search, and site assets to maximize conversion
• Oversee website merchandising, including menu upload, updating product images, copy, pricing, and details
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party partners to develop effective merchandising plans that drive traffic and increase conversion rates
• Regularly analyze website metrics such as traffic patterns, bounce rates, conversion rates, etc., to identify areas for improvement
• Provide valuable market intelligence by frequently documenting and analyzing the merchandising and product strategies of best-in-class eCommerce companies
• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to enhance organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic to our websites.
• Partner with web developers/agency to ensure optimal site performance and develop new features
• Responsible for reporting out on Google Analytics and A/B testing platforms on an ongoing basis
• Provide regular performance reports, updates, analytics and insights based on established campaign KPI’s
• Assistance and coordination of our loyalty program including creative development, programming, execution oversight and reporting.

Experience and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics or related field Proven experience
• Proven experience (2-3 years) in e-commerce management
• Strong understanding of SEO principles as they relate to e-commerce platforms
• Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) is preferred
• Knowledge of eCommerce best practices and trends and online marketing tactics (SEO, SEM, Email, etc.)
• Familiarity with product information management (PIM) systems and their integration with e-commerce platforms is plus
• Proficient in reporting tools, such as Google Analytics Self-motivation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Light CSS knowledge is a bonus
• 3 year of experience in paid media marketing
• Must be organized and disciplined when it comes to project management and deliverables
• Experience executing email campaigns (mailchimp, hubspot, Alpine IQ, etc.)
• Experience A/B testing different methodologies to measure performance along paid media channels
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of cannabis, industry, and culture preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year
