Drywall Installer jobs in Troy, MI

North Warren apartment complex seeking Drywall Installer/Painter. This is a 1099 position.

Drywall Installer/Painter will be responsible for completing necessary drywall, and painting at the apartment community as scheduled by Maintenance Manager.

Essential duties include but are not limited to:

• Apply paint and other coatings to drywall and other surfaces
• Sand down or clean surfaces before applying paint
• Assist with drywall hanging and finishing
• Repair and patch damaged areas on drywall
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees
• Excellent communication with the ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to work with others and/or independently
• Any other related duties as requested by supervisors and management. The responsibilities listed above are by no means all-inclusive and can be modified as the supervisory & management team deem fit.

Requirements:

• Dependability, attendance is an imperative job function
• Demonstrate the ability to do tasks described above
• Physical ability to climb ladders and stairs, bend, lift, reach and move up to 50lbs
• Unrestricted Driver's License, as driving is an essential function for this position
• Reliable transportation.

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
