In this role the Health Care Information Specialist will be responsible for supporting goals and objectives for the Health Information Management Department. Together the entire department will deliver accuracy, timeliness and safeguarding the privacy and integrity of electronic and paper medical records.
Skill, Experience and Education Requirements:- Previous experience in electronic health record systems.
- Strong analytical- critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, as well as prioritize.
- Detail oriented and the ability to problem solve with minimal direct supervision.
- Must be self-motivated and have excellent customer service skills.
- Experience with Outlook and MS Office Suite of products, computer savvy.
- Must be flexible to work weekdays and/or weekends if needed.
- College Graduate, AS Degree or AHIMA certification or minimum of 1-3 years of Health Care information experience.
