    Site Supervisor (Distribution):

    The Site Supervisor is responsible for accurately and safely receiving and processing explosive products and accessories at Company’s explosive magazine sites. The Site Supervisor will also assist with physical loading and unloading product as well as properly ordering, stocking, and storing supplies according to business demands.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Coordinates and oversees explosive magazine’s daily activities.
    • Coordinates ordering activities as required by business demands to ensure the maintain of an acceptable operating inventory based on demand.
    • Receives, confirms, and accurately documents incoming material types and quantities. Stores in appropriate locations as business demands dictate.
    • Assists with the distribution and return of explosives and related material and products to the designated site.
    • Assures that Pick Tickets and the Inventory System accurately represents outgoing and incoming quantities by associated names, sizes, and date codes.
    • Performs daily perpetual inventory documentation and maintains accessories for drills and related projects.
    • Assures storage magazines are fully compliant with regards to safety, security, and housekeeping standards.
    • Communicates with Distribution Supervisor regarding the required ordering and loading schedule.
    • Understands and follows all Company safety policies and practices.
    • Attends company meetings as required.
    • Participates in daily heads-up safety meetings.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    • Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions.
    • Strong commitment to a “Safety First” attitude.
    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    • High School diploma or GED
    • Valid driver’s license with access to own transportation.
    • Three (3) years or more of experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
    • Knowledge of inventory control procedures.
    • Good PC skills.
    • Must have CDL license with hazmat endorsement (or obtain it within 120 days of employment).
    • Must be able to meet ATF “possessor” requirements.
    • Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check.
    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    • Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in related field/industry.
    • Prior supervisory experience with relevant skills.
    WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    • Standard work week, although generally Monday through Friday, may vary because some jobs must continue non-stop until completion and/or to meet accepted project timetable. Overtime work may be required depending on deadlines and project commitments.
    • Primary work is of a physical, manual labor nature and is outdoors in varying degree of weather elements, both cold and hot temperatures, depending on the seasons of the year and job locations.
    • Work closely with other team members to coordinate responsibilities and communicate progress.
    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    • Prolonged periods of standing and walking, reaching, pushing, stooping, bending, and lifting.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Must be able to tolerate exposure to excess noise under strenuous working conditions.
    • Work on uneven and loose surfaces.
    TRAVEL:
    • Out of town, site visits to various magazine locations will be required, as necessary.
