Job Requirements

Weatherford is hiring a Operations Supervisor - Managed Pressure Drilling for our facility in Broussard, LA

Location: 1221 EVANGELINE THRWY BROUSSARD, Louisiana 70518

The Operation Supervisor will oversee the daily activity of Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) installations offshore encompassing the personnel, logistical, and material needs of each project. The supervisor will regularly meet with clients to discuss MPD performance and address any specific needs communicated by the team. Work directly with field supervisor to ensure systems quality and reporting metrics are achieved. Assist on an on-call basis to support operational needs.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Direct supervisor of field personnel
• Complete performance reviews and objectives for direct reports
• Ensure HSE and Quality policies are followed and understood
• Schedule rotation crews and project personnel utilization
• Ensure competency and compliance of field team
• Manage material needs for each installation including quoting and order request for inventory
• Participate in daily operations meeting internally and with clients
• Meet with sales team to discuss customer requirements and needs
• Have a detailed understanding of the MPD process and related equipment
• Prepare and/or advise on operational reporting including lessons learned and after action reviews
• Ensure accurate job reporting for each MPD installation
• Participate in service quality investigations, complete action item assignments
• Review and validate field operating and contingency procedures
• Operate on a 24 hour on call basis

Experience

• 6 years experience in Managed Pressure Drilling.
• Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and dispatch and track resources in support of job tickets
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced computer skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Multi-tasking ability
