Drilling Operations Manager jobs in Vermont
Drilling Operations Manager manages daily drilling, production, and engineering operations for an organization. Manages the planning and execution of drilling projects, the development of oil and gas fields, and the analysis of reserves. Being a Drilling Operations Manager manages the proper use and maintenance of equipment. Plans and develops revisions or enhancements to solve and troubleshoot drilling problems. Additionally, Drilling Operations Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Drilling Operations Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Williston, VT based Engineers Construction, Inc. (ECI) has an opening in our Trenchless Division for a Directional Drilling Foreman with 5-10 years of experience.
A working knowledge of heavy equipment is required, as is experience working with directional drilling. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, a CDL is preferred.
Position will require some level of project planning/coordination as well as some crew management. A high emphasis on safety is also a must.
Knowledge and experience of trenchless methods of construction (directional drilling, auger boring, pipe ramming, guided boring, pipe bursting and tunneling) are a plus.
- Location: Williston, VT with assignments throughout New England and New York.
- Rate of Pay: Commensurate with experience.

- Working Hrs: 45 to 55 hours per week typical
