Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our team. The Operations Assistant will provide administrative support to ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the transportation department. This role requires excellent organizational skills, computer literacy, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Workday 8 am - 4:30 pm.
Duties:
- Assist with general office management tasks, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining office supplies
,- Coordinate and schedule meetings
- Manage calendars and ensure timely reminders for upcoming events and deadlines
- Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism
- Utilize software programs
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Skills:
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software programs
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with office management procedures
- CDL preferred but not required; training available for CDL
