Drilling Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of oil and gas wells. Performs design evaluations and recommends alterations to improve safety, costs, and efficiency. Being a Drilling Engineer may conduct risk assessment and cost estimation. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Additionally, Drilling Engineer is familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. Job Overview:
We are seeking a Pump Technician/Driller’s Assistant to join our team. As a Pump Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of pumps and well systems. As a Driller’s Assistant you will be working side by side with a licensed driller to drill water wells. Local traveling only, no overnights. Overtime hours offered during the busy season with a more flexible schedule offered in the off season.Duties:
- Diagnose pump issues and recommend/perform appropriate solutions
- Maintain accurate records of work performed-Assist with water well construction
Skills (Not all required- must be willing to learn):
-CDL (company will provide training)
- Customer service skills
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Welding
