Drilling Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of oil and gas wells. Performs design evaluations and recommends alterations to improve safety, costs, and efficiency. Being a Drilling Engineer may conduct risk assessment and cost estimation. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Additionally, Drilling Engineer is familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. This position is a contract to possible hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.
- Design and develop RF coaxial connectors and related components
- Utilize 2D / 3D CAD design tools to create drawings for components and assemblies.
- Provide technical support to customers, sales representatives and manufacturing departments
- Interface with customers on design and applications issues.
- Travel as needed to support customer requirements.
- Process Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and Engineering Release Orders (ERO).
- Ability to perform detailed analysis to validate functionality of design, including tolerance studies
